Martha Jo Fraser, age 70, formerly of Monmouth, passed away at her home in Chicago, Illinois on December 13, 2018. Marty was born on January 8, 1948 in Monmouth and is the daughter of Raymond K. and Martha T. Tresham Fraser and was raised and educated in Monmouth, Illinois, her parents operating the former Colonial Hotel in Monmouth. Cremation has been accorded in Chicago and her ashes will be laid to rest privately with her parents, Raymond and Martha Fraser in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Monmouth on Saturday, April 27, 2018. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial lunch at the Americinn Wyndham Monmouth at 11:30 AM that Saturday morning. The clans will be gathering for a celebration of Marty's life. Please join us.
