Mary Jane Deluna

Mary Jane DeLuna, age 64, of Monmouth, passed away July 7th at 10:05 am at her Monmouth residence. She was born January 6, 1948 in Biggsville, Illinois and is the daughter of Alva M. and Delores M. Hendrickson Manes. Mary Jane was raised in Biggsville, Illiniois where she attended local schools and Union High School. She was previously married to Delbert Skiver on October 13, 1967; and later married Jesus DeLune on June 20, 1987 in Gladstone, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2003. Mary was a homemaker in her own home and loved cooking and baking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed her time with her friends and going to the Casino. Surviving is her daughter Lori Skiver and son Jaime Godina, both of Monmouth, Illinois. There are two granddaughters Danielle Skiver of Monmouth, and Addison Adolphson of Aledo, Illinois. Two grandsons survive Korbin Bethell of Monmouth, and Ethan Adolphson of Aledo, Illinois. Two sisters survive, Kay (Danny) Lathrop of Monmouth, and Karen (Jim) Furnald of Oquawka, Illinois. Three brothers survive James (Teresa) Manes of Carman, Illinois, Mike (Roxanne) Manes of Oquawka, Illinois, and Wes (Darleen) Manes of Gladstone, Illinois. A number of other relatives are also surviving. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. Services:A funeral service will be at 6:00 pm on Friday July 13, 2012 at the Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. Cremation will then be accorded. Visitation with family present to receive friends will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday prior to the service. A memorial fund is being established by her family.
