Mary Lou Hubler of Biggsville, Illinois, died at 7:00 pm on Monday, March 17, 2014. She was born Mary Lou Graham on July 2, 1928 in Livingston, WI., the daughter of John Lowe Graham and Lenice Henry Graham. She grew up on a farm in Wisconsin and attended a rural grade school. She also attended Livingston and Landcaster High School, graduating from Lancaster High School in 1946. Mary Lou married Kenneth Hubler on September 4th, 1946 at the Lutheran Church in Platteville, Wisconsin. They moved to Rockford, Illinois in 1947, where three of their four children were born and grew-up. She lived and worked in Rockford until she retired from Atwoods in 1989. She then moved to Biggsville, Illinois. Mary Lou left a loving family of two sons, Lloyd Hubler of Smithshire, Illinois and Steven (Nancy) Hubler of Loves Park, Illinois, one daughter, Peggy (Mark) Wickersham of Prescott, Arizona, four grandsons, Chad Wickersham of Prescott, Arizona, Michael (Tina) Hubler of Kirkwood, Illinois, Christopher and Jordan Hubler of Loves Park, Illinois, one granddaughter, Holly (Tim) Goshinski of Omaha, Nebraska, five great-grandchildren, Susie and Dillan Hubler, Tia Read, Rhyann Wickersham, and Gwendolyn Goshinski. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Member of her family that went on ahead, her parents, husband Kenneth, sister Martha Mac, son K. Richard, granddaughter Tina Sue, and an adopted sister, Rosalie Pierce. Mary Lou was a member of the Biggsville United Methodist Church, the Biggsville Community Club, and the Atwood 20 Year Club. Services:Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will be next to her husband Kenneth and son Richard at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Greenwood Cemetery in Platteville, Wisconsin. Arrangements in Wisconsin are being handled by Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home in Platteville, Wisconsin. Memorials may by left to the Biggsville Methodist Church.
