Mary Jo Poole

Mary Jo Poole, age 65, of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away at 8:48 pm on February 5, 2012 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. Mary Jo was born on June 13, 1946 in Monmouth, Illinois and is the daughter of Clifford and Bessie Schultz Lefort. She was raised in Monmouth where she attended public schools and high school. Mary Jo was married first to John Steele, and later to Stanley Logsdon, and lastly to Henry Poole. Mary Jo's main interest was to her family and her grandchildren. She loved the Holliday's and had a large collection of Christmas trees. Surviving is her daughter Kimberly (James) Hunt of Kewanee, IL and three sons, John (Katie) Steele of Roseville, IL, Steve Logsdon of Monmouth, IL, and Cory (Davina) Logsdon of Keithsburg, IL. There are ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren surviving. She has two sisters Lucy (Jerry) Garner and Pat Garner both of Monmouth, IL. There are a number of Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives surviving. She is preceded in death by her Parents. Services:At her request, no visitation or service is currently planned by her family. Cremation is being accorded. A memorial fund is being established by her family and may be sent to Kim Hunt 303 South Elm Street Kewanee, IL 61443
