Mary F. Tracy

Mary F. Tracy, age 71, of Keithsburg, Illinois, passed away at 1:40 P.M. on Monday, January 22, 2018 at University Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. She was born on January 8, 1947 in Galesburg, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Margaret (Peluso) Wallick. Mary attended school in Abingdon, Illinois, where she was a graduate of Abingdon High School. After high school, she attended both Carl Sandburg College and Knox College in Galesburg where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Nursing. On August 6, 1983, she married Terry E. Tracy in Galesburg, Illinois and he is surviving. Mary began work at the University Hospitals in Iowa City, Iowa and Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, Illinois in the Emergency Department. After Mary and Terry moved to Florida, she worked many years as a hospice nurse. Mary was in charge of the Hospice House in Florida, a facility with over 150 beds. She very much enjoyed fishing and being on the water and river with Terry. Mary is survived by her husband Terry of Keithsburg, IL, one sister, Nancy Wallick of St. Petersburg, FL, and one brother, Patrick (Trish) Wallick of Port Richie, FL. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Danny Wallick.
