Nana B. Kapinga

Nana Bilonda Kapinga, 62, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at 11:41 a.m. Sunday, December 28, 2025 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.

Nana was born on May 7, 1963 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, the daughter of Boniface Mubinda and Bilonda (Tubala) Ngalu. She married Jean Pierre Ngaly. He preceded her in death. Nana is survived by five sons, Cedrick Malundama, Hervé Malundama, Bodrick Malundama, Joel Malundama, and Brown Malundama; two daughters, Merveille Malundama and Arlette Malundama; three grandchildren, Orelly, Kennie, and Akacia; and several brothers and sisters.

Nana worked in production at Smithfield Foods, Monmouth, Illinois.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2026 at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Glory of God International Church, 1580 E. Knox St., Suite 7, Galesburg, Illinois.
