Nancy Ann Collins

Nancy A. Collins, age 63, of Monmouth, Illinois passed away at her residence in Monmouth on Saturday October 31, 2009 at 11:16 pm. Nancy was born on August 19, 1946 in Monmouth, and is the daughter of William Kenneth and Faith Lucille Cooke Nichols. She was raised in Monmouth where she attended Monmouth Public Schools and graduated from Monmouth High School in 1965. Nancy was married to Patrick M. Collins on December 4, 1965 in Monmouth, Illinois. Nancy was a devoted Mother and Grandmother to her family and grandchildren. She was employed many years at Farmland Foods of Monmouth as a trimmer. She regularly attended church at First Christian Church. Her family and her grandchildren were her whole life. She is survived by two daughters Christine (Quinton) Lovitt of Monmouth, Illinois and Lisa Cerar and Fiance' Ron Myler also of Monmouth, Illinois. Two granddaughters survive April Ann Cerar and Amanda Erin Cerar, and one grandson Matthew Evan Davies, all of Monmouth, Illinois. Nancy's Aunt and Uncle also are surviving, Bonita McCann of Monmouth and Wayne Nichols of Arizona. A number of cousins and other relatives also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents. Services:A funeral service will be at 10:30 am Thursday morning at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois with interment in Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery. Her family plans to receive friends at Turnbull Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A memorial fund is being established for First Christian Church of Monmouth.
