Nancy Lynn Nevius Mckee

Nancy Lynn Nevius McKee, 75, Lakewood, CO, passed away on March 13, 2013. Nancy was born on August 20, 1937, in Monmouth, Il. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. "Bob" McKee, daughters Alison (Lance) Johnston and Tracy (Roberto Busnardo) Truax, sons, Jeff (Leanne) Truax and Marc Truax, 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her stepson Mark R. McKee, her sister Peggy Nevius German, her beloved aunt Grace Gawthrop Peterson, and her parents Alice and Roy Nevius. Nancy attended Galesburg Public Schools, went to Northwestern College her freshman year, and then graduated from Monmouth College. She was a member of the Phi Beta Phi sorority. She sang, acted and danced through the years, which she loved very much. She was involved in theater in Gillette, WY. Private services will be held June 7, 2013 in Monmouth, IL. Services:A memorial service is planned on June 7th, 2013 at 11:00 am at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, IL. Cremation was accorded.
