Natalie H. Siebert

Natalie H. Siebert, 89, passed away on July 29, 2009, at Heartland Healthcare Center in Galesburg.. She was born on October 22, 1919, in New York, New York, to Ida (Dickson) and Royal P. Haff. Natalie graduated from Walton High School in The Bronx, New York in 1937 and married Herman H. Siebert at St. James Episcopal Church in The Bronx on September 14, 1941. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2008. She and Herman moved to Monmouth, IL in 2007 from Park Forest, IL where they had lived for over 50 years. Before her marriage she worked as a secretary in New York City and after her children were grown, she worked for New York Life Insurance Co. until her retirement in 1978. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Phyllis Haff. She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Peter) Gebauer of Monmouth; her son, Roy A. (Diane) Siebert of Orland Park, IL; her grandchildren, Matt Gebauer of Orland Park, IL; Amy (Gebauer) Sestito (Robert) of Philadelphia, PA; Robert Siebert and Scott Siebert of Orland Park, IL; and one great-grandson, Anthony Sestito, Philadelphia. Services:A memorial service will be held Monday, August 3, at 2:00 PM at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. Cremation has been accorded. The family will be present at the funeral home prior to the service from 1:30 until 2:00pm. A memorial fund is established for the American Macular Degeneration Foundation or the Arthritis Foundation. Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth is in charge of the arrangements.
