Pammy Jo Garrett, age 47, of Monmouth; passed away at 2:25 am on May 8, 2011 at Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, Illinois. Pammy was born on December 31, 1963 in Monmouth, and is the daughter of Hattie P and Donald E. Garrett. She was raised in Monmouth where she attended local schools and High School. She later received her G.E.D. in Warren County. Pammy was previously married to Robert J. Adams. She first was employed at Don Tatman Motors in Monmouth where she detailed automobiles. She then worked at the Review Atlas in delivery. She later worked at the Galesburg Register Mail on the Press line. More recently she has been residing in North Henderson and Monmouth, Illinois and has been limited due to her health. Pammy loved fishing, and was a NASCAR fan. She loved Packers and Colts football and was a big music fan of all varieties, especially country music. Surviving are two sons Thomas Campagna of Monmouth, IL and Eric Adams (fiance Hannah) of Macomb, IL Her parents Hattie and Donald Garrett of Monmouth, Illinois and three sisters Donna Koehler of Mesa, Arizona; Wendy Brown in Gilbert Arizona, and Stacy Cooper of Biggsville, Illinois. There is one brother surviving, Donald (Mary) Garrett of Monmouth, Illinois. Her very special friend survives, Frank McKinzie of North Henderson also survives. She is preceded in death by her grandparents and one nephew. Services:A memorial service will be on Wednesday evening May 11, 2011 at 7:00 pm at Turnbull Funeral home in Monmouth, Illinois. Her family plans visitation, receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm prior to the service. Interment of her ashes will be in Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. A memorial fund is being established for Warren County Relay for Life.
