Patricia Lou Angelo, 85, of Abingdon, Illinois, died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on January 29, 2026 at 2:15 p.m.
Pat was born January 10, 1941 in Kewanee, Illinois, the daughter of Robert Palmer and Lillian Pearl (Drummond) Webber, Jr. She attended Bradford schools and married Jack Lee Angelo, Sr. on June 16, 1962 in Kewanee, Illinois. Jack preceded Pat in death on April 3, 2006.
Pat is survived by one son, David Angelo of Galesburg; one daughter, Patricia Hickman of Galesburg; eight grandchildren, Christopher Lynn, William Hickman, Dustin Randall, Nathan Hickman, Nikki Tune, Donald Hickman, Cody Angelo, and Bryson Zimmerman; and several great grandchildren. Pat is also survived by two brothers, Robert (Donna) Webber of Commerce Twp, Michigan and Ronald Webber of Detroit, Alabama; one sister, Crystle Hand of Toulon, Illinois; and her beloved kitty, Daisy. Along with her husband and parents, Pat was preceded in death by one son, Jack Angelo, Jr in 2024; a daughter, Pamela Lynn in 2015; one sister, Margaret Hand; and three brothers, Michael Webber, James Webber, and Terry Webber.
In her younger years, Pat worked at Boss Manufacturing in Kewanee. After Pat and Jack welcomed children, she stayed at home to raise their family. She loved horses throughout her life as her family had them when she was growing up. Pat was a member of Abingdon Methodist Church. She loved being outdoors working in the yard. She had a generous spirit and enjoyed giving to others. Pat was an adventurous cook, often creating tasty new recipes. She loved her family deeply and spent as much time with them as possible.
Cremation will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held in the spring. Burial of cremated remains will be next to her husband at Abingdon Cemetery, Abingdon, Illinois. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
