Patricia A. Leath

Patricia A. Leath, age 71, of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away at OSF St.MaryMedical Center in Galesburg, Illinois on January 5, 2012 at 4:20pm. Patricia was born on March 14, 1940 in Monmouth, Illinois and is the daughter of Oscar and Alma Knuth Johnson. Pat attended Immaculate Conception School in Monmouth, and then attended Monmouth High School. She was married to Dean Leath on October 5, 1956 in Cameron, Illinois. He is surviving. Pat first worked at a local restaurant waiting tables and then Patricia work for seven years at the former Pamida Store here in Monmouth, Illinois. She is survived by her husband Dean Leath, and one son Dean A. Leath and Ronita of Monmouth, and one granddaughter Crystal Leath of Monmouth, and grandson Christopher Leath and Rita of Belleville, Illinois. There are two great granddaughters, Chevella Hinderliter of Monmouth, and Camara Leath of Belleville, IL and two great grandsons Harley and Luke Hinderliter. Four sisters Mary (Don) Miller, Ellen Jones, Rose Scott, and Marjorie Kinney, all of Monmouth, Illinois. Two sister in laws Betty and Jo Johnson survive. There are also numerous nieces and nephews surviving. She is preceded in her death by her parents, four brothers, and twin baby sisters. Services:A funeral service will be on Tuesday January 10, 2012 at 10:30 am at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. Interment will be in the Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery Her family plans visitation with the family present from 9:00 to 10:30 am prior to the service on Tuesday.
