Paula M. Britton, Age 53, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, formerly of Monmouth, passed away on November 21, 2008, at the Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Paula was born on December 13, 1954 in Morrison, Illinois. She is the daughter of Duane and Rose Maurine Tyler Croxton. She was reared and educated in the Little York area, and attended Yorkwood High School. Paula married Dennis A. Britton on April 1, 1972, in Monmouth, he survives. She worked at Melings Motel for a time as a desk clerk. Paula loved to go fishing, camping, spending time outdoors, traveling, crocheting, knitting, play board games, puzzles and cards. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Young's Lake. Surviving Paula is her husband Dennis of Kenosha, WI, two sons; Christopher L. Britton of Kenosha, Dennis M. Britton and Michelle of Monmouth, three grandchildren; Megan Britton of Monmouth, Devin Cauthon of Roseville, IL, and Chelsea Britton of Bartonville, IL. Also surviving is Paula's mother, Maurine Croxton of Minneapolis, MN, one sister, Ronda Robbins and Gaylord of Monmouth, three brothers; Richard D. Croxton and Sandy of Pottstown, PA, Tom Croxton of Minneapolis, MN, and David Croxton and Shelly of Milaca, MN. Numerous other relatives survive She was preceded in death by her father, and one sister. Services:A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. Her family will be present to receive friends at 9:30 a.m., an hour prior to the service. Cremation will be accorded. A memorial fund is being established
