Peter P. Bishop

Peter Paul Bishop, age 34, of Berwick, Illinois, passed away on November 1, 2008, at Putney's Landing, rural Keithsburg, Illinois. Peter was born December 7, 1973, in Galesburg, Illinois. He is the son of Junior and Patricia Pieper Bishop. He was raised in the Berwick area, and attended school in both Monmouth and Roseville. He graduated from Monmouth High School in 1992. He was currently employed at the Berwick Grain company in Berwick. He enjoyed tinkering with his vehicles, playing video games, and fishing. Surviving Peter are his parents, Patty and Junior Bishop of Berwick, one sister, Patsy and Rex Meyer of Abingdon, Illinois, two brothers; Michael E. and Cathleen Bishop of Berwick, and Ronald E. and Shelley Bishop of Monmouth. Also surviving is Peter's maternal grandfather, William Pieper of Berwick. Preceding Peter in death is his maternal grandmother, paternal grandparents, and one nephew. Services:A memorial service for Peter Bishop will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 7, 2008, at the First Assembly of God Church in Abingdon. Cremation has been accorded. No viewing or visitation is planned by his family. A memorial fund is established for the First Assembly of God Church in Abingdon, Illinois.
