Rhonda S. Brentise

Rhonda S. Brentise, age 42, of Galesburg, IL.; passed away at her residence in Galesburg, Illinois on May 25, 2011. Rhonda was born September 27, 1968 in Monmouth, Illinois and is the daughter of Vernon G. and Janet Harris Brentise. Ronda was raised in Monmouth attending Monmouth Schools graduated from Monmouth High School. Rhonda was involved with Bridgeway and attended most of their activities. She loved to watch television and detective shows. She was a devout Christian and very strong in her faith. She very much loved Children and her family. She is survived by her daughter, Nicole M. Brentise of Monmouth and her parents Vernon and Janet Brentise also of Monmouth. There are three sisters surviving, Terri (Chet) Hippen of Kirkwood, IL, Verna Jean Crowl of Monmouth, IL and Toni K. (Fred) Brown also of Monmouth. Two nieces, two nephews, and a number of great nieces and nephews also are surviving. She is preceded in death by her grandparents and a number of aunts and uncles. Services:A memorial service is planned at 2:00 pm on Thursday June 2nd at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. No viewing or visitation is planned at present. A memorial fund is being established for the Knox County Bridgeway.
