Richard J. Klossing, Jr.

Richard James “Rick” Klossing, Jr., 61, died unexpectedly at home, Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 2:49 p.m.

Rick was born in Galesburg, Illinois the son of Sharon Marie (Bern) and Richard James Klossing, Sr. Rick graduated from Galesburg High School in 1983. He worked at various factories in Galesburg throughout the years, last working for ILPEA Industries.

Rick is survived by his mother and stepfather, Sharon and Dennis Shea of Galesburg; his children, Dalton Klossing and Emily Klossing both of Galesburg; and one brother, Timothy Klossing of Galesburg. Rick was preceded in death by his father on June 1, 2023.

In his free time Rick enjoyed working on and riding his motorcycle and spending time with friends.
