Richard E. Miller

Richard E. Miller, age 71, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at 1:18 P.M. on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at his residence in Monmouth. He was born March 26, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Russell and Marie (McNamara) Miller. Richard attended Warren Achievement School and also worked for Warren Achievement Industries. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and watched or listened to the games often. He very much enjoyed reading. Richard loved his pet goldfish and often named his fish after people he knew. Richard is survived by cousins, his Warren Achievement Family, and many friends here in Monmouth. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Funeral Services for Richard E. Miller will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Monmouth Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Warren Achievement Center in Monmouth.
