He married Madeline Lucille Goudie on February 19, 1949. They had two children, Carol Anne Ray Stalker (Lance) of Valparaiso , Indiana and Ralph William Ray of Goodyear, Arizona. Bob had 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. During Bob's retirement he enjoyed painting pictures, traveling, working in the yard, walking, swimming, taking pictures, attending yard and antique sales. Bob and Madeline were married 54 years before her death in 2003. He volunteered weekly at Peppi's House Hospice for seven years after Madeline's death. Bob died at his home in Tucson on February 5, 2015 at the age of 101 1/2. Memorial Service A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Sugar Tree Grove Cemetery. Military Honors will be presented at that time.
