Robert E. "Sam" Tracy

Robert E. "Sam" Tracy, age 71, of Oquawka, Illinois, was found deceased at his residence on Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Sam was born January 22, 1937 near Stronghurst, Illinois, the son of Harold H. "Shorty" and Bessie Bradfield Tracy. Sam was reared in Henderson County and attended local Henderson County schools. Sam held various jobs throughout his life. He enjoyed his friends and talking to folks. Surviving are one sister Roxana Lox of Oquawka, and two brothers, Randy Tracy and Kathy of Oquawka and Rex Tracy of Burlington, Iowa. Three nephews and one niece also survive. Preceding him in death are his parents, one brother and one infant sister. Services:Cremation has been accorded. No services are planned at this present time.
