Rollie G Siegfried

Rollie G. Siegfried, age 70, of Oquawka, Illinois; passed away at 6:45am at Methodist Medical Center on May 29, 2013. Rollie was born December 17, 1942 and is the son of Clyde A and Rosella E. Price Siegfried. He was raised in Pontoosuc. Illinois where he attended public schools. He was married to Beverly S. Worley on August 26, 1983 in Burlington, Iowa and she preceded him in death on October 24, 2003. Rollie was a commercial fisherman and worked at Vice Fish Market of Oquawka and at Walker's Fish Market in Dallas City, Illinois. He also was employed for a time at Wilson Foods in Monmouth and also at Raider's Cement in Burlington, Iowa. Rollie is a member of the Illinois Commercial Fishing Association. He is survived by one son Rollie Dean (Amy) Siegfried of Oquawka, Illinois and two daughters Lora (Bob) Boughton and Robin Siegfried both of Oquawka, Illinois. Two step daughters, Trish Bowen and Amy Bellomy, both of Kentucky. There are seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. One sister, Joyce Martin of Burlington, Iowa and one brother Albert Siegfried of Tauton, Mass. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Robert Siegfried, and one infant daughter. Services:A funeral service will be on Saturday June 1, 2013 at 11:00 am at Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka, Illinois. Visitation with the family receiving friends from 9:00 to 11:00 prior to the services is planned on Saturday morning at Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka, IL. Interment will be in the Oquawka Cemetery. A memorial fund is established for the Illinois Commercial Fishing Association.
