Roxana M. "Roxie" Lox

Roxana M. "Roxie" Lox, age 74, of Oquawka, Illinois; passed away at 7:55 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at her Oquawka residence. She was born on October 25, 1940 in Gladstone, Illinois and is the daughter of Harold H. "Shorty" and Bessie A. (Bradfield) Tracy. Roxie was a graduate of G&O High School. On July 30, 1962, she married Danny R. Lox at the Gladstone United Methodist Church and he preceded her in death on December 3, 1998. Roxie was employed at Formfit in Monmouth, IRC in Burlington, the Gladstone Fast Break, and Conifer in Burlington. Roxie loved gardening, mushrooming, flea markets, crafting, reading, and walking. She most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by one son; Michael Todd Lox of Oquawka, Il., and one brother; Randy (Kathy) Tracy of Oquawka, IL. She is also survived by many brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, and her husband. Services:A Gathering of Family and Friends is scheduled from 10:00-12:00 noon on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka. Cremation is being accorded. Her family is establishing a memorial fund and that will be named at a later date.
