Ruth E. Nuckles

Ruth E. Nuckles, age 86, of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away at OSF Holy Family Medical Center on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 6:25 pm. She was born on December 18, 1927 in Monmouth and is the daughter of Fred and Mamie Brasche. She was raised in Monmouth, where she attended Monmouth Schools and Monmouth High School. She was married to Frank E. "F.E." Nuckles on July 3, 1948 in Monmouth, Illinois. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1992. Ruth is a homemaker in her own home. She was employed for a time at the Western Stoneware Company of Monmouth, IL. She is survived by her daughter, Francine (Brian) Greenstreet of Monmouth, and one son Mark Nuckles of Galesburg, Illinois. There are two step sons, Roger (Norma) Nuckles of Monmouth, Illinois and Ronald (Anita) Nuckles in South Carolina. There are eleven grandchildren and thirteen great gramdchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and seven brothers and sisters. Services:A graveside committal service for interment of Ruth E. Nuckles is planned at 2:00 pm on Tuesday November 18, 2014 at Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery. No visitation or viewing is planned currently. Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth is in charge of the arrangements.
