Samuel L. Heatherly

Mr. Samuel L. Heatherly, age 57, of Marietta, GA (formerly of Monmouth, IL) passed away on January 20, 2018 unexpectedly at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on September 11, 1960 to Mitchell L. Heatherly and Lois J. (Chambers) Heatherly. Samuel attended Monmouth area schools and worked numerous jobs. His last job was Textile Wallcovering in Smyrna, GA until his disability struck. He married Josephine (Ibarra) Heatherly on April 14, 1990. Samuel's favorite things in life was spending time with his family. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Josephine; 3 sons, Samuel L. Heatherly II, and twins James and Darrin Eugene Heatherly II, all of Marietta, GA; mother, Lois Heatherly Lebanon; sisters, Debra Heatherly of Davenport, IA and Rose Heatherly of Denver, CO; brothers, Mitchell Heatherly II, Lakewood, CO and Mike Heatherly, Rock Island, IL; niece, Raisha Ross; nephews, David Heatherly, Dustin Puckett and Roman Ross; great niece, Stella Rose, and his best friends Tucker and Sophie, his beloved dogs. He is preceded in death by his father, Mitchell Heatherly; brother, Darrin Eugene Heatherly, and a nephew, Joshua Derry.
