Sean C. Whiting

GALESBURG - Sean C. Whiting, 39, Galesburg, passed away at 7:35 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at home. He was born June 2, 1974, in Galesburg, to parents Edward A. and Edith G. Custer Whiting and married Susie Wilson on May 25, 2002, in Galesburg. She survives. Also surviving Sean are his parents; a sister, Michelle Whiting of Galesburg; four children, Preston Whiting, Syris Whiting, Chance Whiting, and Madi Whiting; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Sean loved to fish and to work hard. He loved life and his family, and his greatest joy in life was to be a father to his children. Cremation rites have been accorded. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at The Oaks Community Church, 1868 Congregation Road, Dahinda. Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements with the family.
