Teresa Guerrero

Teresa Guerrero, age 44, of Monmouth, passed away at 4:53 p.m., Monday, August 15, 2011 in rural Mercer County, Ill. as the result of a traffic accident. She was born on November 2, 1966 in Duango, Mexico, the daughter of Daniel and Maria Vizcarra Aguilera. Teresa was reared and educated in Mexico. She married Jose Guerrero. Teresa worked at Farmland foods in Monmouth. She also helped her husband pastor the Rock of Salvation Church in Monmouth. Christ was her life and she was a graduate of the International Institute of Biblical Studies. Teresa was an wonderful mother and friend. She is survived by her husband Jose Guerrero of Monmouth, her children; Cecilia Guerrero, Danisia Guerrero, and Andy Guerrero all of Monmouth, one grandson Liam Aiden Rodriguez of Monmouth. Also surviving are her parents, seven brothers and six sisters. She was preceded in death by one child Damaris Guerrero. Services:A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Rock of Salvation Church in Monmouth. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service Saturday Morning at the church. Friends may call on Friday evening at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, where her family will be present to receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service. No memorial fund is being established.
