Thomas L. Hankins, Jr.

Thomas Lee Hankins, Jr., 56, of Wataga, died peacefully at home with his family by his side. Tom was born May 15, 1964 in Galesburg, the son of Thomas Lee and Carol Ann (Moore) Hankins, Sr. Tom is survived by his parents of Wataga; one sister, Tammy (Kevin) Connour of Wataga; a niece, Brittany Connour of Oneida; great nieces, Izabella, Lyric, and Zariah Finnegan; and several aunts and uncles. Tommy worked at Maytag for several years until the plant closed.  In his younger years he loved to fish.  He also enjoyed rock hunting with his Dad.  Tommy loved hanging out with his friends and playing cards, especially pitch.  He loved his animals. Cremation will be accorded.  No services are planned.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Memorials may be sent to the Guardian Angels Humane Society.
