Thomas Webb

Thomas F. "T" Webb, age 83, of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away at OSF Holy Family Medical Center on September 12th at 10:50 am. "T" was born May 3, 1925 in Monmouth, Illinois and was the son of Thomas and Jessie Mae Barnett Webb. He was raised in Monmouth, attending Monmouth Schools and graduated from Monmouth High School. On March 3, 1954, he married Maxine Shoots Smallwood in Galesburg, Illinois. Thomas began his working career as a section hand on the railroad for a time. He then was employed as a Brick Tender for James Lipes Contractor. He then continued as a Brick Tender for Bob West Contractor from which he retired. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Monmouth, Illinois. Surviving "T" is his Son Bill and Maria Smallwood of Monmouth, Illinois. His grandchildren Townsley & Kim Smallwood of Joliet, Illinois; Sterling & Jane Smallwood of Peoria, Illinois; Tiffany Smallwood of Monmouth, Illinois; Joyce and Aaron Wallace of Monmouth, Illinois; Sheryl and Scott Zaske of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Gary & Marilyn Shoots also of Minneapolis, Minnesota. There are also and number of Great Grandchildren surviving. Thomas is preceded in his death by his Parents, Wife, Two Sisters, Four Brothers, Two Daughters, One Son, and Two Grandchildren. Services:A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday September 19th at 1:00 pm at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. His family plans to receive friends for the hour prior to the service on Friday at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth Noon to 1:00 pm Interment will be in the Monmouth Cemetery following the service. A memorial fund is being established for the Building fund of Calvary Baptist Church in Monmouth.
