Tom M Sullivan

Tom Sullivan, age 60, of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois on March 26, 2012 at 11:30 pm. Tom was born on January 28, 1952 in Galesburg, Illinois and is the son of Wayne P. and Marion E. Flohr Sullivan. Tom was raised in the Monmouth area and attended Warren School from which he graduated with the class of 1970. He then attended for a time at Carl Sandburg College. Tom married Donna Rea Wagoner on December 27, 1996 in Monmouth, Illinois. Tom began work farming in Warren County. He then was a truck driver for Munson Trucking in Monmouth, and then drove for Transport Plus in Abingdon, Illinois. Lastly Tom was employed at Farmland Foods in Monmouth for ten years to the present. Tom loved to restore and rebuild riding lawn mowers for pleasure. He also was most interested in his family genealogy and history. Surviving is his wife Donna Sullivan of Monmouth, Illinois; a daughter Mary C. Rivera of Monmouth, and his son Jason ( Annalisa ) Wagoner of Viola, Illinois. There are five grandchildren, Keagan, Kaden, and Kason Wagoner, and Thomas and Joshua Rivera. There is one sister Patricia ( Richard ) Dehaan of Trevor, Wisconsin, and brother Jack ( Chris) Sullivan of Wyoming, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his parents. Services:A funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Saturday March 31, 2012 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. A Rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 4:45 pm Friday evening followed by visitation and the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial fund is designated for the Leukemia / Lymphoma Society.
