Virginia M. Gamel

Virginia M. Gamel, age 86, of Galesburg, passed away at 8:00 p.m., February 12, 2011 at the Galesburg Terrace in Galesburg, Ill. She was born on July 23, 1924 in Otter Creek Township in LaSalle County, Illinois. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Constant. She attended High School in Sandwich, Ill. Virginia married James V. Gamel, he preceded her in death on July 14, 2006. She enjoyed playing bingo, and going out for supper. Surviving Virginia is her special friend George Govest of Galesburg, Ill., and several other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Services:Cremation has been accorded. Interment of her ashes at Rock Island Nation Cemetery will be at a later date. No service is planned.
