William Albert Clark, Jr., 66, of Altona, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017, 11:00 PM, at Richard L. Owens Hospice House, Peoria. William was born on May 29, 1951, in Lockport, New York. He was the son of William and Eunice (Edmister) Clark; Sr. He married Patricia Barlow on October 4, 2000, in Kolkata, India. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia at home; a son, William “Billy” (Mia Yoo) Clark, III, of New York; step-daughter, Kimberly (Ashley) Verma of India; two brothers, Gary (Susan) Clark of Fresno, CA; Doug (Dahlia) Clark of Florida; two sisters, Nancy Winn of Florida, and Patty (Bob) Boehm of Florida; two grandchildren, Yuna Ella Clark and Kaitlyn Verma; step-mother, Ruth Clark of Florida; and his sweet dog, Miracle. William was preceded by his parents. William was a veteran of the United States Army. He served in the Vietnam Era from April 4, 1969 to November 26, 1971 and received a number of medals, including the Army Commendation Medal.  He attended Walla Walla College in College Place, WA. William had a career as a project manager at an architectural and engineering firm. He was a member of the Altona Lions Club.  He was an avid scholar of ancient history and religions, and he loved the arts.   Per William’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.  A private burial of cremated remains will be held at the Long Island National Cemetery, in Farmingdale, NY at a later date. Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
