William E. Breasaw, Jr.

William Earl Breasaw, Jr., 47, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at 12:18 a.m. Sunday, April 26, 2026, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, Peoria, Illinois.

Billy was born February 9, 1979, in Galesburg, the son of William Earl and Mary Catherine (Lepard) Breasaw, Sr.

Billy is survived by three children, William Breasaw of St. Louis, Missouri, Madison Breasaw of Williamsfield, Illinois, and James Breasaw of Williamsfield. Billy was preceded in death by his father, William on July 29, 2023; his mother, Mary Lodwick on December 16, 2025; and a sister, Jennifer Breasaw of February 2, 2018.

Billy worked for several years as an over-the-road truck driver. In his free time, he enjoyed being at home and cooking.

Cremation will be accorded. Private burial of cremated remains will be with his father at Monmouth Cemetery, Monmouth, Illinois. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
