William C. Osborn

William C. Osborn, age 45, of Monmouth, Ill., passed away at 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2009, at his residence. He was born on October 31, 1963, in Dixon, Ill. the son of William and Jane Doris Bowman Osborn. He was raised in the Dixon and Monmouth areas and graduated from Monmouth High School in 1982. Bill first worked at K-Mart in Monmouth as a stockboy. He then worked at Vickroy Furniture where he has worked to the present. Bill had also worked part-time at the Bottlery with Harold Kinney. Bill enjoyed cycling and was into stereos. Bill is survived by his parents, William C. and Jane Osborn, of Monmouth, one son Nathan Osborn of Monmouth, one step son Tim Karstens who is serving in Iraq. Also surviving is one brother Michael H. Osborn and Randi of Roodhouse, Ill., two sisters, Alane Osborn of Bartow, Florida, and Jenny Osborn and Shonda in the Clinton area. Preceding Bill in his death are his grandparents. Services:A memorial service will at the Maple City Baptist Church in Monmouth at Noon on Friday March 20, 2009. No visitation or calling hours are being planned. Cremation has been accorded.
