William R. Reyburn

William R." Bill " Reyburn, age 61, of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away on Thursday November 7, 2013 at the Illinois Veteran's Home in Quincy, IL at 11:30 pm. William was born on October 25, 1952 in Galesburg, Illinois and is the son of Charles R. and Donna M. Hull Reyburn. Bill was raised in Galesburg where he attended local schools and graduated from Galesburg High School with the class of 1970. He then entered the United States Air Force and was a fueling specialist serving in the country of Spain for a number of years. Bill was previously married to Anna Rodriguez, she survives and they have two daughters and a son. Bill started as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Chino, California. He served twenty-seven years as such and retired mainly due to his health. He loved to go fishing and loved his guns and shooting. He also loved auto racing and classic cars of which he owned his own street rod. His family and friends were his main interest. His is survived by his two daughters Sara (Kevin) Perigan of Ontario, California and Julia M. Rodriquez of Montclair, California. He has one son Daniel R. Reyburn surviving also in Montclair, California. There is one grandson, Daniel Perigan also surviving. His parents also survive, Donna and Charles Reyburn of Galesburg, IL. and two brothers Douglas L. Reyburn of Warrenville, IL.; and Glen L. Reyburn of Galesburg, IL. There are a number of Nieces, Nephews, his ex-wife Anna, and other relatives also surviving. He is preceded in his death by his grandparents and two brothers. Services:Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service is planned by his family on Saturday November 16, 2013 at 11:00 am at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. His family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service 10:00 to 11:00 am also at the funeral home. Military service will be presented at the funeral home following the service and ashes are to be interred later at the cemetery. A memorial fund is being established for the Illinois Veteran's Home in Quincy, Illinois.
