Willma D Neal

Wilma D. Neal, age 76, of Monmouth, passed away on July 6, 2012 at her home in Monmouth, Illinois. Wilma was born on November 30, 1935 in Alexis, Illinois and is the daughter of Jessie and Mary Orpha Hook Cook. She was raised in Monmouth and attended Monmouth Schools and Monmouth High School. Wilma was previously married to Donald C. Neal. Wilma was employed over twenty-two years at Western Stoneware in Monmouth, and retired in 1991 due to her health. She was a homemaker and loved to do jigsaw puzzles. Surviving are two sons Lewis ( Rodney ) Neal of Galesburg, Illinois and Donald (Kim) Neal of Monmouth, Illinois. There are three grandsons, one granddaughter, and three great grandchildren surviving. Also surviving are two sisters Carol Poulson of Monmouth, IL. and Donna Neal of Galesburg, IL.of Galesburg, IL. One brother survives Charles McLaughlin of Monmouth, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents and step-father, and five brothers and sisters. Services:A graveside service for the committal of ashes will be at 10:00 am on Friday July 13th at Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, IL. A memorial fund has been established for Disabled American Veterans.
